The College was established in June 1996 with the primary aim of providing an array of courses for the students of rural setup of Mandangad and its surrounding area. In recent past, several need based courses (U. G. Program) have been introduced to equip students to meet global challenges. The College aims at providing quality education to all. The fee-structure for aided programs is charged as per the university rules and also financial assistance is provided at personal level to needy student. The college does not accept any donations at the time of admission. The college multifaculty College like Arts,
Commerce and Science Degree level imparting instructions in Marathi or English medium and thus catering to the local needs. Several co-curricular and extra-curricular activities (sport, cultural, extension Remedial Coaching, Skill India Programme and social outreach activity etc. ) organized by the college contribute to the overall personality development of student as valuable human resources. Women developed cell of college organizes several gender sensitization activities for girl student and female Empowerment.
Education for the upliftment, social justice, gender equality and strengthening womanhood for the nation building.
To improve quality higher education to the women from rural area, to awake them educationally, socially, culturally and make them economically self-reliant.
